We are thrilled to announce that BF&S, along with our dedicated team, has been honored with the Excellence in Concrete Pavement Award by the Indiana Chapter of the American Concrete Pavement Association. This award recognizes the completion of the Remain Overnight (RON) Apron project at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND).

The RON Apron project, which started its design phase in 2020 and spanned two construction seasons, stands as a testament to innovation and meticulous planning in airport infrastructure. This initiative has significantly enhanced IND’s operational capabilities by allowing up to seven additional jet aircraft to park overnight. This expansion not only increases the airport’s capacity to accommodate flights but also provides essential flexibility for airlines serving Indianapolis.

BF&S played a pivotal role in the success of the project, leading both the design and construction inspection teams. Our team’s commitment to excellence in every phase of the project—from initial conception to final execution—has been instrumental in achieving this recognition.
