BF&S proudly announces significant changes to our leadership team, demonstrating a commitment to fostering talent within the organization. David Lahey, PE, has been appointed as the new President of BF&S. Simultaneously, Jeremy Books, PE, CPESC, and David Garwood, PE, were added to the ownership group, both of whom were previously esteemed Vice Presidents.

Dave Lahey, who has served our firm with dedication and excellence for 32 years, embodies the values and vision of BF&S. He has risen through the ranks, showcasing exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of the industry. As the newly appointed President, Lahey is actively engaging with staff, listening to their concerns, and developing ways to enhance communication and employee satisfaction within the company.

The addition of Jeremy Books and Dave Garwood to the ownership group highlights BF&S’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent from within. Books and Garwood have a longstanding history with the company, both having served in the Construction Inspection Department for 28 years and 22 years respectively. Their elevation to Executive Vice President positions not only reflects their exceptional abilities, but also underscores BF&S’s belief in the importance of internal talent development and succession planning.
